# Tricity Appliance Repair — API for agents

Read-only JSON describing an appliance repair business in Metro Vancouver, British Columbia. No key, no signup, no rate limit ceremony. Data is licensed CC BY 4.0 — attribute to Tricity Appliance Repair (https://tricityrepairs.ca/).

## Endpoints

## MCP

`POST https://tricityrepairs.ca/wp-json/tricity/v1/mcp` speaks JSON-RPC 2.0 over plain HTTP — Streamable HTTP without the optional SSE upgrade. The server is stateless: no session id, nothing to resume, and `GET` returns 405 because there is no stream to open.

Tools:

- `get_business_info` — Identity, address, phone, email, opening hours and rating for Tricity Appliance Repair, plus the channels a customer can use to book a repair.
- `list_services` — List the appliance repair services offered, with the service id used by get_price_estimate and the landing page URL for each.
- `get_price_estimate` — Return the diagnostic fee, warranty terms and the estimated repair price range for an appliance. Ranges include parts and labour and are estimates, not quotes — the firm price is set on site after the diagnostic.
- `check_service_area` — Check whether Tricity Appliance Repair covers a given city in Metro Vancouver, BC.
- `get_booking_instructions` — How to book an appliance repair appointment, and what information to have ready. There is no booking API — this returns the phone number and booking page for a human to complete.

## What this API will not do

- No booking endpoint. Appointments go through (604) 359-5952 or https://tricityrepairs.ca/contact/, both answered by a person.
- No writes of any kind, so nothing to authenticate — see https://tricityrepairs.ca/auth.md.
- No payments. This site does not implement x402 or MPP and never returns HTTP 402.
- Prices are estimates. Ranges include parts and labour and are estimates, not quotes. The firm price is confirmed on site after the diagnostic.
